  14. I'm new to this group and am angry because I called USR
  15. on 2/12 to place an order for the 33.6 upgrade chip for my
  16. Sportster v.34 modem.  I was told at that time that the "order"
  17. would go out at 11 am that day.  Since then, I have not 
  18. gotten the chip.  I placed 2 calls to USR on 2/15 and
  19. 2/21 and both times I called the reps keep telling me a 
  20. different story in terms of when the chips will be released.
  21. What I want to know is what the hell is going on there?
  22. Why would one rep tell me that the order would "go out"
  23. at 11 am on 2/12 and the two other reps tell me that because
  24. of so many orders there is a backlog of 2 weeks?  When I
  25. called today...the "estimate shipping time" would be at least
  26. another 2 weeks.  Has anyone else had this problem before?
  27. As I understand it, the chip was released last November...so
  28. what's the deal now?
